Lucien Beach

Lucien Beach, also know as Margate North Beach is a great place to chill out as it is usually less crowded than Margate Main Beach. Lifeguards are on duty throughout the year.

Uvongo Beach

This beach is quite small and is enclosed by eroded cliffs. This gorgeous beach boasts lovely fishing spots and lifeguards who are on duty all year round.

Ramsgate Beach

Ramsgate Beach offers a one-of-a-kind experience. The beach itself is surrounded by natural vegetation which turns the area into a park-like scene and located at the end of a river mouth. There is no swimming allowed in the river but there are pedal boats and recreational activities available instead.  The fact that there are lifeguards available all through the year makes this a great beach to visit with the whole family.

Southbroom beach

The Southbroom main beach offers excellent swimming and surfing and the natural elevation of the headland provides breath-taking views of the ocean. The Imbezane lagoon is fun for little ones and canoeists and a good variety of bird life can be seen on its tranquil waters and shores. The deck of the Riptide restaurant is a lovely setting with lagoon and sea views. Lifeguards are on duty in season only. 

Granny's Pool, Southbroom

Granny's Pool is a lovely safe swimming area for the elderly and toddlers, with lots of little rock pools for the little ones to explore. There is wheelchair access to the beach via a ramp and excellent ablution facilities.

Marina Beach

Marina Beach is a long sandy beach which has it's own collection of  tidal pool. There are various water activities such as fishing, diving and other seaside action that takes place.

Trafalgar Beach

Trafalgar Beach is adjacent to Marina Beach. The beach has a tidal pool and is ideal for picnics, sunbathing, fishing, kite flying and swimming or book horse riding on the beach with Selsdon Park Estate.  

St Michaels on Sea

St Michaesl on Sea beach is a poplular swimming and surfing beach that you'll find at the mouth  of the Umhlangeni River. It is also constantly pattrolled by lifeguards. Paddle boats are available for your enjoyment. It is also child friendly as it has a swimming pool and number of small rock pools filled with marine life.
